May. 21st, 2005

I was in the library at the University of Vermont today, with the unofficial Library Club here at Job Corps. On a rack of books a friend found a copy of Bram Stoker's Dracula printed in 1929. It's cover was read and the pages were yellowed but well preserved. It was being offered up as a part of a silent auction, along with other books on the rack. I bid five bucks since no one else bid for it, though I know it's worth far more. That story was barely forty years old by that time.

Wish me luck...
